Public Transport in Budapest – BKK Mobile Application

The official mobile application for public transport in Budapest is called BudapestGO. The application allows users to:

• Plan routes and view real-time schedules
• Purchase and validate tickets and passes
• Access up-to-date information on public transport services

The BudapestGO application is available for download on both Google Play and the App Store. By using BudapestGO, passengers can manage all aspects of their public transport journey in Budapest quickly and efficiently.

• Bus 100E – Airport to City Center

• Take the bus 100E from the airport to Deák Ferenc tér (Ferenc Deák Square).
• The journey takes about 40 minutes, and buses run every 10–20 minutes.
• Important: A special ticket is required for the 100E Airport Express and can be purchased on the bus. The single ticket costs 2,200 HUF, and other types of tickets or passes are NOT accepted on this direct service.

• Metro M2 (Red Line)

• At Deák Ferenc tér (Ferenc Deák Square)., transfer to Metro line M2 (Red Line) in the direction of Déli pályaudvar (Déli Railway Station).
• Get off at Széll Kálmán tér (Kálmán Széll Square) after about 5 minutes.

• Bus 22, 22A, or 222

• From Széll Kálmán tér (Kálmán Széll Square), take Bus 22, 22A, or 222 toward Budakeszi (Budakeszi town).
• Get off at Dénes utca (Dénes Street). The bus ride takes about 15 minutes.

• Walk to Hotel Tiliana

• From the Dénes utca (Dénes Street) bus stop, it is a 5-minute walk to Hotel Tiliana, located at:
  1021 Budapest, Hárshegyi út 1-3. (1-3. Hárshegyi Street, Budapest 1021)
